Derived from Bridgestone's MotoGP development, the soft outer (Cap) compound gives you high-level grip. The inner (Base) compound meanwhile is harder, providing optimum stiffness for the tyre. But even as the tread wears down, the harder base compound is not exposed to the road - so you won't get caught out with loss of grip!
