Battlax S20: As good as gold on wet roads

01 February 2012

Valentino Rossi

The prestigious journal MOTORRAD is enthusiastic about the new super sports tyre Battlax S20 in its February 2012 edition.

Following an exclusive test at the factory test track in Japan, the MOTORRAD tester's judgement was that "with its ample grip on wet roads, the S20 is as good as gold".

The trade magazine was particularly impressed by the above-average grip on the front and rear tyres as well as the high level of steering precision.

This judgment also held up in relation to selected competitors such as Dunlop Sportsmart and Pirelli Diablo Rosso II, which were available for comparative rides.

Summary of the article "Schlecht Wetterfront" from the journal Motorrad in its 2/2012 edition.
